I’m committed to science outreach and sharing the joy of science with others whenever possible:
With folks at Brains On!, a podcast geared towards sharing science with curious kids, I did a small interview about how MRI works.
With Knowing Neurons, a creative neuroscience education website, I make neuroscience accessible to all learners as a contributing editor and writer.
Through Scientista, a non-profit organization that promotes women in STEM, I wrote about female scientists, career resources, and did a book review on the first women in NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab.
With fellow students in my thesis lab, I led outreach events geared towards teaching the scientific method to children with learning differences.
